This mare was dominant when winning over this track and distance last start, and she has been tuned up with a solid Scone trial since then.

Tip 2 Of 6 – Sunshine Coast Race 4: Guarded Optimist

• Jockey: A Mallyon
• Price: $3.90 @ Unibet

It takes a talented horse to win two in a row, and this gelding looks a great chance of making it a hat-trick.

He has won his last two at this grade of BM64 at the Gold Coast, and he may be stepping up in weight but he looks to have found a great race on a soft track, where he is three wins and three seconds from eleven runs.

An extremely well-placed filly as she is dropping back from a strong BM70 at Flemington to a maiden at Seymour.

She was unable to sprint off the slow pace but was finishing strong over the final 100m.

Very keen.
