Saturday Sydney racing returns to Rosehill on Saturday where our analyst likes a classy O’Shea & Chartlon sprinter returning from a Magic Millions stint and a Snowden filly that ran a great 2nd in the Kirkham on debut as the value play.

Best Selection: R7- Roselyn’s Star

The O’Shea & Chartlon gelding looks well placed 2nd up over 1200m. He settled a pair or two further back than usual at the Gold Coast’s Magic Millions meeting before hitting the line nicely without threatening to finish 1.9L to Hawker Hall. He had no luck in his first two runs last prep before winning over 1100m at Rosehill.

Value Selection: R4- Pearl of Dubai

I loved the debut of Pearl of Dubai in the Kirkham Plate. She settled 3-wide without cover midfield but still managed to let down strongly down the outside to finish 0.3L 2nd with a 1L gap back to 3rd.The step up to 1100m from Gate 3 looks perfect.
