RACING: Newcastle Best Selection & Value Play 15/11

Sydney metro racing heads to Newcastle for the G2 Hunter meeting. Our analyst likes a Snowden colt that looks ready to peak over a mile in a feature race and a value runner from the Ryan & Alexiou yard in the final race of the day.
View our best selection and value play below.
Best Selection: R7- Grand Prairie
Grand Prairie looks well placed here and looks a real miler. He brings top notch early spring form with a 2nd to Skyhook in the Listed Rosebud before winning the G3 Up and Coming over 1300m. He had excuses finishing midfield in races at Rosehill and Flemington either side of a 7-week freshen up. He looks pried to perform well in this.
Value Selection: R10- Just Party
Just Party is talented and looked great bursting through the line in a recent trial after racing in restricted room. He was disappointing in two G3 races at Brisbane over the winter carnival. He really caught the eye finishing strongly when missing in a photo in the G3 Hawkesbury Guineas prior. He probably needs the early afternoon showers to come so there is a little cut in the track. I loved the trial and Clark can find a spot a couple of pairs forward of the rear then he will be a great chance to be flying late at big odds.
