• Race 2: Kingston Charm – $9 With PlayUp (Bet Here)

Quick Summary: Finished seventh at Warwick Farm over this trip last time but was hampered on straightening at Randwick the run before, suggesting the form is better than it looks. Braith Nock retains the ride with his claim, and the inside gate gives him every chance to settle in a good spot from a mid-field running style.

This looks a winnable assignment with the right run, and the course and distance form adds further appeal. Competitive if he can navigate clear running, though he’ll need things to fall his way against some better-credentialed rivals.

• Race 3: Joiselle – $9 With PlayUp (Bet Here)

Quick Summary: Showed good fight when runner-up at this track over this trip last month and followed that with a solid third in another Highway at Randwick. Handles wet ground if required and has been competitive in similar company across recent starts.

The addition of a tongue tie for the first time suggests connections are looking for improvement, and Siena Grima’s claim brings the weight back to a workable level. Wide gate will require some luck early to find the right spot, but the form is genuine enough to have him in the finish if things unfold.

• Race 6: Fine Vintage – $14 With PlayUp (Bet Here)

Quick Summary: Ran well for second at Canterbury two starts back and was held up at a crucial stage when fifth at Warwick Farm last time. Suited by the 1200 metres and has shown enough in recent runs to suggest he’s holding form, though this is a tougher test than his last-start metropolitan assignment.
