Crypto Miss has the best exposed form, already placing twice in metro company this prep and maps for a soft run from barrier four. Switch The Stars arrives off strong trial wins and gets key gear changes plus a 3kg claim to land on-speed and give a sight. Excelboom showed ability on debut, and his recent trial indicates improvement, with Maloney sticking for a winnable race.

Subterrain brings a dominant trial and first-up gear (cross-over nose band, ear muffs pre-race) to suggest he’s ready-made. Odin’s Mount has race fitness, a tidy trial win, soft draw (4) and a weight drop to land handy and finish off.
