Australian lightweight Quillan Salkilld will headline UFC Fight Night Sydney against Frenchman Benoît Saint Denis at Afterpay Arena on Sunday, 7 February 2027.
The UFC confirmed the main event this week, with the event marking the promotion’s first Fight Night in Sydney since 2017 and its fourth consecutive annual event in New South Wales.
Salkilld is 13-1 as a professional and unbeaten at 6-0 in the UFC. He has won his past four fights by first-round finish, most recently submitting Mateusz Gamrot in the main event of UFC Fight Night in Perth in August, ESPN reported.
The 26-year-old from Broome is a former Australian rules footballer who has collected five performance of the night bonuses.
A dangerous opponent
Saint Denis, 30, holds a 17-4 professional record, with all 17 of his wins coming by knockout or submission.
