The 2013 Masters champion is the 40th ranked player in the world at the moment. In his last two tournaments, Scott has turned things around in his game. He was 14th at the United States Open, and 15th at the British Open. The native of Adelaide, who turned 42 during the British Open, has four other top-10 finishes in 2022, including a fourth place at the Genesis Invitational in February.

2) Patrick Cantlay

As mentioned in the opening paragraph, the favourite won the Rocket Mortgage Classic two years ago. Patrick Cantlay is the favourite this year. The fourth ranked player in the world is still looking for his first win during the 2022 calendar year after winning the 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs.
