Magic vs Celtics 9:10am AEST

Not sure how he didn’t cover for us last time as he only needed a bucket with a quarter and a half left which he almost played the entirety of. Happy to come back as the Magic are missing so many guys which should get Mo into the high 30s maybe even 40s again. He is going to start at the 4, and likely sub out early and come back in to relieve Bamba at the 5. Last game he played strictly at the 4 (as expected), which meant he was a little less involved in the offence but he’ll certainly get some 5 minutes here where he should be able to get some extra looks. Bamba isn’t a big minute guy (hasn’t played over 30 all season), and he’s extremely prone to foul trouble so there’s some baked in minute upside for Wager.

* There aren’t any RJ Hampton lines currently, but I’m pretty into him today so maybe keep an eye out if there is anything closer to tip. He’s going to get his chances from here on out.

Cavs vs Blazers 9:10am AEST

It’s a shame about the b2b here otherwise I’d be all in on Okoro today. Pretty tough to have much on a guy that just played 47 minutes yesterday. I’m buying his stock and it’s clear that JB wants to get him more involved in the offence and the numbers back that up with 42 front court touches (up from 27) and 2.8 minutes of touch time (up from 1.3) over the last 2 games. Just having a little go on his upside against the bad Blazers defence to see if he can stay hot after an insane 32 point game yesterday. He has 2 20 point games in his last 5.

Kings vs Pacers 10:10am AEST

Away from home on a b2b is something I’ve tended to avoid but it’s just so hard not to be into Delon here. The role was as good as it could be yesterday with 17 drives and 7.1 minutes of touch time. I’ve mentioned it several times but the way this Pacers defence works is that they just funnel everyone into the paint, protecting the 3 point line, this works when you have an amazing rim protector like Myles Turner (or even Goga) but with Sabonis manning the paint it just makes it so hard for them to get stops. Delon’s peripheral stats will show up as they always do, but I think he can have a big scoring game off these drives.

Levert is heading for big minutes once again here in an extremely favourable matchup against the Kings awful defence. He’s had 25+ in 3 straight including games of 36 and 33. Role is as good as anyone in the league right now at 31.3% usage over his last 3 games. He’s second in the league in drives in that span at 18.7. This game is going to be so high scoring.

76ers vs Rockets 10:10am AEST

Curry is rolling right now with back to back 20 point games and 3 in his last 4. It’s going to be a pick your poison type scenario here but it’s hard to imagine anything other than Rockets doubling Embiid whenever he’s in the post so am expecting Curry to get a bunch of open looks from kick outs.

Spurs vs Jazz 11:10am AEST

Similarly to the Pacers, Spurs don’t really help off 3 pointers as they funnel a lot into Jakob who is one of the better rim protectors in the league. This is going to set up for another big Rudy game who just destroyed them for 24 points 2 days ago. Spurs have given up the 6th most PITP on the season.
