Nets vs Jazz 11:40am AEST
Really wanted to take someone on the Utah side of the ball here but the way they run their offence it’s just so hard to know who will pop on any night. Kyrie’s points line’s have been around 25/26 for the most part this season, so I was a little surprised to see just the small bump up to 28.5 with no KD and his 29.7% usage, especially since Nash has decided to play them together almost always. Only a 15 min sample for Kyrie with no KD but he got a 3.8% usage bump to 33.5% scoring 21 points in those minutes. He’s looked so so good this season and would think if Brooklyn are going to make a game of this it’ll be on his back.

Grizzlies vs Lakers 12:10am AEST
It’s really not often you’ll see me bet on someone against one of the leagues elite defences, but the line is low enough he could have it done through three quarters, as I expect this game will be done by then. He’s obviously a major beneficiary of Ja going down, but I have been a bit surprised just to see how high his usage has been. He’s a team second 26.7% (Brooks 29.7) over the last 3 and he’s been decent in that stretch, averaging 15 points in just shy of 30 minutes which included a 9 point dud against the Celtics. I was tossing up whether or not to take this, but when I saw he’d been able to average 15 points while going just 3-17 on open or wide open 3’s it swayed me. He’s not a great shooter, but he’s better than that so there is some upside still.

Blazers vs Bulls 2:40pm AEST
Have been close to pulling the trigger on this one a few times, but thought the hot shooting was unsustainable and didn’t want to be left hanging. To see him have an off shooting night against the Warriors and still smash through this line was enough for me. The way this Portland starting 5 is constructed, it’s just CJ & Dame taking turns with Covington & DJJ waiting for open shots. Both of those guys have 10% usage rates which leaves plenty for CJ and he’s taking advantage. He has a team second 28.8% usage (Dame 29.2%) and has covered this line in all but their opener (26) averaging 28/5.7 on the season. Gets a great matchup today against the Bulls 25th ranked defence and 2nd ranked pace. Portland’s defence isn’t good either, ranked 28th, so would think for them to blowout the Bulls CJ (or Dame) would have to get super hot early and Dame has been more than happy deferring to CJ in first halves where CJ has a 28.5% usage and Dame has 25.3
