The Nathan Doyle 3yo came to his first city race with a lot of hype after a pair of massive wins at the provincials and he more than delivered. He settled behind a fast leader and had worked into the race nicely at the top of the straight. Whilst he didn’t show a great acceleration in the wet, it never looked in doubt, recording a 1.1L victory.

He will likely be better on firmer ground and he’d be a great horse to follow into the right Magic Millions race.
