Our Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Flemington 17/6
June 21, 2023

Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Flemington on Saturday and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.
ROCK PROPHET
He likes the straight and he demonstrated that with his fast finishing third to Rain Lord in the opening race over 1100m. He was the closest runner to the fence and he rocketed home recording the fastest last 400m for the day of 21.63 seconds and the fastest last 200m of 11.20 seconds. He should chalk up another win this campaign.

Steparty is a star and can be an influence in the spring. Although he was eased down over the last 100m his time for the 1420m marginally slower than Not An Option in the open class race and faster than Seonee who won the fillies and mares’ 1420m which illustrates how talented he is. With that in mind Blazing Harry is also a horse going places as he finished on strongly to finish second.
JIMMY THE BEAR
Don’t drop off him yet. He was never in a great position after being slowly away. He was solid to the line with his big weight. He will be ready to fire in the final of the Winter Championship where he will get some substantial weight relief.
SO SLEEK
Lightly raced son of So You Think in the Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace stable. He didn’t get clear until late in the race and ran home nicely for second behind First Immortal. There’s a win coming his way.
KIN
Looked to be travelling nicely down the outside but the horses in the middle of the track got away from her with 400 metres to go and she didn’t have any other horse to take her into the race. She flew home to finish fourth behind Cause For Concern running the second fastest last 400m for the meeting of 22.02 seconds.
