Oklahoma City Thunder sweep the Memphis Grizzlies

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the first team in the 2025 NBA Playoffs to advance to the second round. On Saturday, the Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 117-115 to win the best out of seven first round Western Conference encounter four gamed to none.
The Thunder won the games in the series in different ways. The first two games in Oklahoma City were complete blowouts. In game one, the Thunder delivered the fifth largest blowout in NBA playoff history, as they beat the Grizzlies by 51 points, 131-80. The game two win was also decisive as the Thunder beat the Grizzlies by 19 points, 118-99.
However, the games in Tennessee were significantly tighter. In the third game, the Thunder had the second biggest comeback in NBA Playoff history. They were once down by 29 points (69-40) before winning 114-108. Then in game four, the Thunder won by a single field goal.
Canadian guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of Toronto, Ontario led the Thunder in scoring with 27.8 points per game in the series, including 38 points in game four. He led the NBA in scoring with 32.7 points per game during the regular season.
On Monday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers can be the second team in the NBA postseason to reach round two when they face the Miami Heat. The Cavaliers are the first seed in the East, and lead the series three games to none.
Four teams are currently up 3-1. The Minnesota Timberwolves lead the Los Angeles Lakers, the Boston Celtics lead the Orlando Magic, the New York Knicks lead the Detroit Pistons, and the Indiana Pacers lead the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors lead the Houston Rockets two games to one, while the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers are tied at two games apiece.
