We are headed into the fifteenth week of the season. Here are the key injuries, fantasy stars and projected upsets.
Key Injuries
More players are out with season ending injuries. They include New York Jets wide receiver and special team specialist Irvin Charles (torn anterior cruciate ligament), and Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown (torn anterior cruciate ligament, torn medial collateral ligament and torn posterior cruciate ligament). Other players out include New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (broken hand), and Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (lacerated kidney).
Fantasy Stars
After having a record number of fantasy points last week in southern California, it is zero surprise Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen of Firebaugh, California is number one in week 15. Expect much the same as we saw in the Bills/Rams game on Sunday in Detroit. Allen is projected to get 258 yards passing, 34 yards rushing, and two touchdowns. The top rated wide receiver is Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals. He is projected to get seven catches for 91 yards and one touchdown against Tennessee. But be aware as the Titans have an excellent pass defense. The top rating running back is Saquon Barkley of The Bronx, New York. He is projected to get 121 total yards and one touchdown. However, be aware as the Eagles are facing a strong Steelers defense.
Projected Upsets
The underdogs I like this week are the Los Angeles Rams against a banged up San Francisco 49ers, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have an underrated quarterback in Baker Mayfield, who is fourth in the NFL in passing yards with 3329.
