We begin the 14th week of the 2025 NFL regular season on Thursday. Here are the key injuries, fantasy stars and projected upsets.
Key Injuries
Among the players who got hurt in Week 13 include Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Josh Simmons of San Diego, California (broken and dislocated left wrist), Buffalo Bills defensive end Joey Bosa of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (hamstring), and Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner of Detroit, Michigan (calf strain). Simmons will be out a minimum of a month as he has been placed on injury reserve. Bosa is “week-to-week” according to John Wawrow of The Associated Press, and Gardner is set to miss “some time” according to the Canadian Press. Gardner made NFL headlines this past summer when he became the highest paid cornerback in the NFL while with the New York Jets.Â
Fantasy Stars
The top rated quarterback is Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. The native of Firebaugh, California is projected to get 243 passing yards and 37 rushing yards along with two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals. The top rated running back is Jahmyr Gibbs of Dalton, Georgia. He is projected to get 88 rushing yards and 37 receiving yards and one touchdown on Thursday night for the Detroit Lions against the Dallas Cowboys. The top rated wide receiver is Jaxon Smith-Njigba of Nacogdoches, Texas. Smith-Njigba is projected to get eight catches for 102 receiving yards and one touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks against the Atlanta Falcons.
Projected Upsets
For the second straight week, I am predicting zero upsets. Remember, I predicted zero upsets last week, and there were seven of them.
