We begin the 13th week of the 2025 NFL regular season on Thursday. Here are the key injuries, fantasy stars and projected upsets.
Key Injuries
Among the players not playing in week 13 include New England Patriots rookie left tackle Will Campbell of Monroe, Louisiana (knee), and Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (concussion). Campbell was the fourth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and the first offensive lineman chosen. Higgins’s injury comes at a time when Joe Burrow is expected to get the start on Thursday night for the Bengals against the Baltimore Ravens. Burrow suffered a serious toe injury in week two against the Jacksonville Jaguars and has not played since. With Higgins’s injury, expect Ja’Marr Chase of Harvey, Louisiana to get a lot of targets in Week 13. He is fifth in the NFL with 861 receiving yards.
Fantasy Stars
The top rated quarterback of the week is Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes of Tyler, Texas. He is projected to get 275 yards passing, 26 yards rushing and two touchdowns against the Dallas Cowboys on American Thanksgiving Day. The top rated running back is Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. Even though Indy is playing a tough Texans defense, Taylor is still projected to get 116 total yards (97 rushing yards and 19 receiving yards) and one touchdown. The top rated wide receiver is Chase, who is projected to get 10 catches for 113 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Projected Upsets
For the first time this season, I am not predicting an upset. In all 16 games scheduled, I am picking the favourite.
