Very surprised Clippers stayed big yesterday, but credit to Lue as it did the job comfortably.

76ers vs Knicks 11:10am AEST
More tough news for the Sixers now with Embiid going into protocols. Although he has a ton of flaws, Drummond is extremely productive, which has never been an issue as he would routinely lead the league in rebounding, and averaged 16+ points in each of the last 8 seasons. He joined the Sixers knowing that he would be backing up Embiid which would be a limited role, but would have several opportunities at spot starts throughout the season with Embiid’s health concerns. He’s only had to fill in once this season, but he was very good in a game against Portland finishing with 14/15/7 (and 5 steals). Just so much opportunity for him without Harris (didn’t play in Portland game either), and the Knicks have been a plus matchup for centres this season across the board. He’s at 12/18/5 per 36 on the season.

Suns vs Kings 12:10pm AEST
Ayton out again today and although McGee will likely get the start again, Frank is the biggest winner and really capitalised the last two games Ayton missed, putting up 17/3/3/4 against the Pels, and 16/6/4 against the Hawks. He played 28 minutes in both those games, so I’m expecting somewhere around that again today, and he’s been very productive in his time at the Suns, with a really nice 16/10/3 per 36 line while at the C spot last season. Very good matchup for him against the Kings on a b2b.
- Frank Kaminsky over 17.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.80 with TAB – 1 unit
Lakers vs Hornets 2:40pm AEST
After an absolute disaster of a game in Portland, he gets a perfect bounce back opportunity here against Hornets who have really been struggling over the last week after their hot start to the season. The peripherals haven’t started coming through for him yet, but he does look a lot more comfortable scoring the ball after the concerning start to the season. He’s cleared this in 5 of his last 7 games, despite Lebron playing in 3 of them. He’s up at 25 points per 36 without Lebron (+4.8% usage bump) despite the 8 points in 29 minutes he’s coming off against the Blazers. Hornets have the 3rd worst defence over their last 5 games at a truly awful 117.5 rating, but they are playing at the leagues 5th fastest pace in that span making them a gold target.
