NBA Player Performance Service: Our Expert Selections – 30/10

Very disappointing start to the season. I always go through and read what I wrote about each bet (win or loss) and have to reiterate I have been happy with the overwhelming majority of the bets taken, just the results haven’t gone our way for various reasons. We are only a few of those .5 losses away from being square. It’s a long season, luck will change but expect volume to be low for the next few days.

Nets vs Pacers 10:40am AEST
Can only have a small bet here as I have zero confidence in the Pacers ability to hang with the Nets. Just have a feeling this could be one of those Nets games where everything clicks and is finished early. If not, Sabonis should be in a massive spot with no Brogdon or Levert. I spoke about his role the other day, and coming off a very low usage game I expect Carlisle to try get him going early.
- Domantis Sabonis over 29.5 Points @ 7.00 with Sportsbet – 0.1 units
Hornets vs Heat 10:40am AEST
Hmm, this line was 23.5 before PJ was ruled in and it came back up 23.5 again. Plumlee has been good for them, but with Borrego making PJ more of a 5 this season (only 10 minutes of overlap), it really takes away the minute ceiling for Plumlee, especially in a matchup against the smaller Heat side. Miami’s starting group has been awesome defensively, and they have given up the fewest points to centres, and third fewest rebounds. It’s a tough spot for Plumlee as is, and now there’s significant minute downside.
- Mason Plumlee UNDER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.90 with TAB – 1 unit
Staking Plan – 1.1 units out
- Domantis Sabonis over 29.5 Points @ 7.00 with Sportsbet – 0.1 units
- Mason Plumlee UNDER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists @ 1.90 with TAB – 1 unit
