Nice easy watch on yesterday’s early bets before what was easily the worst performance I’ve seen from a team this season. Both bets were in good spots there but happy to come out of that one with a split.

Warriors vs Thunder 11:10am AEST

He’s going to keep doing what he does with some awful shot selection but the upside just isn’t there for him this season. Kerr has been very adamant that he will not have the same role and his priorities are defence and rebounding. A big part of Wiggins role last season was to help try keep the offence afloat in the non Curry minutes but with Poole now in charge of the second unit (which has been very good), he loses that upside. The Warriors have far more depth on the wings now, and he’s still building up his conditioning which has capped him at 31 minutes in 3 close games. The usage is down from 22.9% to 20.5% and he’s playing 4 less minutes a night yet this number is bang on his average last season. He’s yet to clear this number this season and happy to add the assists on as he’s averaging just 2.0 potentials per game. The rest of the advanced stats are well down too with just 22.7 front court touches (down from 33.1), 1.6 mins of touch time (down from 2.4), and 6.0 drives (down from 8.0).

Have to have a little bit on here after what he did to this team last season. In the 3 games he played he had 16, 9, 13 dimes as this young OKC squad just got caught out of place so many times. He’s been really unlucky to start the season with just 6.7 dimes from his 14.0 potentials (47)%, far fewer than last season where he was at 8.9 assists from 15.0 potentials (59%). Should have an easy time finding cutters on their way to the rim.
