Moonee Valley Tip Sheet & Staking Plan : Saturday 4th September

Saturday Victorian racing heads to Moonee Valley where the Group 2 Feehan Stakes is set to feature a promising 9 race program.

The track is currently rated a Soft 7. The damage has been done to the track and it’s good to note that there is no rain predicted for the entire race day. That will help because when it rains during racing it causes chaos and often leads to a severe bias one way or the other!

The rail is in the true position today. You’d like to think now with the surface water on the track that it will chop out and favour horses that are swooping. It’s hard to judge, watch and assess the first few races to see if there’s any obvious patterns.
