Collingwood youngster Jaidyn Stephenson is this week’s future star on the back of winning the AFL’S Rising Star award last week.
Stephenson was taken at Pick 6 in last year’s AFL Draft and has taken all before him playing every game this season and has been an integral part of the Pies unique forward line.
Stephenson is blessed with elite speed and a terrific sense of creativity in the forward half of the ground. He managed to snag 34 goals from his 22 games this season.
Collingwood’s late season surge of form provides an opportunity for Stephenson to achieve the rare feat of winning the Rising Star/AFL Premiership double.
