Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Sandown where the Hillside track will host 10 races with the first to commence at 1:35pm local time. There’s three listed races across the program including the VRC St Leger to be run over the 3000m.

The track is currently rated a Good 4. Victorian’s are set for a warm day with tops of 14 degrees! There’s no rain forecasted on Saturday which should make for a good day’s racing.

The rail is out 3m for this meeting. Traditionally, with this set up, the track plays fairly with horses and jockeys being able to make their runs from either the front or behind. All races appear to be pace dependent. As always, watch and assess for any changes.
