Hawkesbury Race 3 – King Of Hearts

He steps up in trip to the 1500 for the first time this prep. Has been a bit luckless in his last few trips but has still put up good figures. Good draw could ideally see him settle a bit closer to the speed. Would want more speed here to be on him and Raging Bull but have leant towards King Of Hearts at the price with the chance to settle closer.

Hawkesbury Race 4 – Otelo

Otelo is third up here and has been racing well since his spell. Last start finished 3rd over 1100m here – held up at the 50m. First up was very good finishing 7th on the kenso over 1100 – held up at the 300m. That form stacks up well here and with the aid of Josh Parr and a soft draw the price is very appealing.

Hawkesbury Race 5 – Achira

First up. Resumes here off a 122 day spell and has trialled well for return. 4th on debut at Canterbury running excellent figures. That run comes in under notice and rates highly. Draw was tricky but field has been narrowed down. Jay ford has been extremely under bet A2E 1.49 in his last 100 runners.

Hawkesbury Race 6 – Aeecee Express

Second up. Resumed at Kenso with a win over the 1250 at $13. Ran good splits late suggesting he’ll relish the 1400. Soft map to can control the race from the front with no speed. Fitter for last effort and a is well placed here with Tim Clark in the saddle. The one to beat.

Hawkesbury Race 7 – Fox Fighter

He looks very well placed here. Hasn’t missed the money this prep recording 4:1-2-1. This is more difficult but the form stacks up very well here. Has run some strong late splits suggesting he is a progressive type who should run a race here.

Moruya Race 1 – Pokerjack

Third up. Luckless this prep racing 3 and 4 wide both starts. Gate is the issue but has the speed to be overcome it. Rated to win with a bit of luck.
