Weak Class 5. He has run a 5^th carrying 57 and 4^th carrying 56 without luck in either. Second-up here and resumed well over 1400m. Draws to get a soft run. If he runs up to either of those efforts he’ll go close, no reason he wont.

2 back he was well back behind a slow speed and flew late to pick up 2^nd. He drew 11 and jumped at $81. Hadn’t had a chance to show much before that. Ok over 1800m last start but should improve 3 weeks between runs from the good draw over 1650m.

Placed 3/3 this prep. First-up good time on the speed, wide early. Second-up and third-up wide no cover both boxing on well both times to finish 2^nd 1L and 3^rd 0.2L. Drawn to receive a soft run in transit here behind a hot speed.

Happy Valley R9 4. Smart Idea

Is going very well. Last 3 have been super. Won well on the yielding track 3 back. Then won very well 2 back, The quinella took lengths away from the field late. Held up badly last start but flew when out to finishing 6^th only 1.5L. Draws well here and no reason he wont go close again.
