FREE Greyhound Racing Selections – Healesville 10th September 2021

Friday Morning straight track greyhound racing from Healesville. The best possible way to start of the weekend with some extra kitty for what is going to be a massive few days in racing and sports!

Race 1

Extremely shallow maiden race to start the day. #4 Blitzen Vixen has shown great early speed in 2 starts here. If she can jump and get on the bunny here her 3.90 1st split is going to be hard to match in turn, hard to run down. #7 Shadow Giblet brings some decent Cranbourne form but has had 14 starts to break through and hasn’t to date. #3 Inga Atilio’s track experience must count for something in this type of field.

Numbers
  • 1st – #4 Blitzen Vixen
  • 2nd – #7 Shadow Giblet
  • 3rd – #3 Inga Atilio
No Bets.

Race 2

#7 Man in Blue went down as a short odds on favourite last run and was slightly unlucky. He must be in the mix on SP alone let alone his solid 19.98s run on debut here. #8 Hugs & Kisses beat home box 7 3 runs back when running 4th to My Name’s Phil. Has shown he can break 20s but is a bit tarty out. #1 Diversify can beat them all here. He is drawn perfectly in a low box and can find the rail here with box 2 crashing to the outside. His only run here was a forgive and in saying that was a pretty good effort.

Numbers
  • 1st – #1 Diversify
  • 2nd – #7 Man in Blue
  • 3rd – #8 Hugs & Kisses
#1 Diversify 1u Win @ $3.70

Race 3

#1 Still Got Time is drawn to perfection here with box 2 a slow started and wide runner. He should get every chance to get his 2nd win on the board. #6 Jack Out was very good here last week behind Your Embrace and won before that. He has the form on the board. #7 Bruree Fairy has the talent here to win, just needs to stay out of trouble. Tough race.

Numbers
  • 1st – #1 Still Got Time
  • 2nd – #6 Jack Out
  • 3rd – #7 Bruree Fairy
No Bets.

Race 4

Tight race here with the odds not a true reflection. #6 Spin comfortably beat home the favourite here in #2 Stop the World when starting $1.40 Fav. Box 2 has since come out and won in a faster time but it’s hard to have them both completely reversed in the market here with Spin now $6 and Stop the World $2.20. #4 All Fear has the ability to win these races and will blouse them late one day.

Numbers
  • 1st – #6 Spin
  • 2nd – #2 Stop the World
  • 3rd – #4 All Fear
No Bets.

Race 5

There’s not much between the top 2 in betting. #5 Far Out Frankie has an excellent record here and when he starts can run some scintillating times for this grade of race. Must be in contention again here. #6 Classy Stringer is coming off a 2-month spell which is the main concern, but his times have him on par with box 5 and he can run well also. #7 Mega Heist has an outstanding record here and should not be forgotten.

Numbers
  • 1st – #6 Classy Stringer
  • 2nd – #5 Far Out Frankie
  • 3rd – #7 Mega Heist
No Bets.

Race 6

#3 Western Bomber on his best form here would win this race easily. His times around the 19.60/70 mark have him right in this race. Only concern with him is he doesn’t hit the line hard and if something goes wrong for him his chances diminish. #7 Rogue Temptation put in a decent effort LTO when running 19.80s. He’s drawn well wide, and that time would have him competitive here. #5 What’s His Caper drops back from VET grade and has great early speed. Would prefer 300m for him but his experience can hold them off late if he finds the bunny.

Numbers
  • 1st – #3 Western Bomber
  • 2nd – #5 What’s His Caper
  • 3rd – #7 Rogue Temptation
No Bets.

Race 7

#4 Especial Empire was there to win 2 starts back when grabbed late by Alfie Mikado. SP $2.50 that day and sticking in the same grade here he can win this race. #5 Eric Garfield wore the reserve rug the other day and was heavily supported in a deep race. It wasn’t his day but that support alone must play a factor here in a weaker G5. #3 Melanistic can match it with these top 2 if he brings his best.

Numbers
  • 1st – #4 Especial Empire
  • 2nd – #5 Eric Garfield
  • 3rd – #3 Melanistic
No Bets.

Race 8

#3 Indy’s Dream is low flying, and her recent record is outstanding. She has great box speed and is very hard to run down from the front. #4 Mumma’s Bear should have run her down 3 starts back but only has herself to blame with her tarty beginnings. Expect her to flash late and if she gets any luck can beat the favourite. #2 Shaka Big Tonks has been struggling of late but don’t be surprised if he has a massive reversal in form at a new location.

Numbers
  • 1st – #4 Mumma’s Bear
  • 2nd – #3 Indy’s Dream
  • 3rd – #2 Shaka Big Tonks
No Bets.

Race 9

#6 Gazer’s Lane looks a great bet here and the best of the day. Massive drop back in class and the run 3 back at this T & D was great behind Apollo One. Just didn’t have the speed to match this dog but never went away and kept picking up ground of him late. He enjoys a wide box and looks drawn to perfection with his outside box a slow starter who uses the track. #5 Wild Harmony was good on straight track debut but just found the 300m a touch too short. The main danger here. #2 Call Me Jade next best. Could get found out at 350m.

Numbers
  • 1st – #6 Gazer’s Lane
  • 2nd – #5 Wild Harmony
  • 3rd – #2 Call Me Jade
#6 Gazer’s Lane 1u Win @ $2.80

Race 10

Tough race. #3 Billy Tirch is back in grade and won here 3 starts back in this grade. Always runs around that 17 flat mark and is a reliable dog. #4 Done Time got beaten by box 3 fair and square last time they met but broke 17s last start and should be in the finish. #5 Cairnlea Winnie can be electric when things go right for her.

Numbers
  • 1st – #3 Billy Tirch
  • 2nd – #5 Cairnlea Winnie
  • 3rd – #4 Done Time

No Bets.

Race 11

#1 Assume Kealy won well here 2 starts back in fast time. Was drawn terribly LTO and ran a good race. Will appreciate being back along the rails. Can Win. #6 Especial Envy ran in torrential conditions LTO and put in a solid effort. Best run at the track thus far but reproducing that effort here could result in a win. #5 Maverick Sandy next best.

Numbers
  • 1st – #1 Assume Kealy
  • 2nd – #6 Especial Envy
  • 3rd – #5 Maverick Sandy
No Bets.

Race 12

#8 Wake the Dragon was off the scene for 4 months after breaking down as an odds-on favourite in this company. He has since come back and run 2 good races. Drawn perfectly today and this is his day to get back in the winner’s stall. #7 Especial One ran a length off box 8 last time they met and must be the main danger. #1 Out of Aces finished well down the track in the same race but will improve 2nd up and draws well in box 1.

Numbers
  • 1st – #8 Wake the Dragon
  • 2nd – #7 Especial One
  • 3rd – #1 Out of Aces
No Bets.

Today’s Bets

  • Race 2 #1 Diversify 1u Win @ $3.70
  • Race 9 #6 Gazer’s Lane 1u Win @ $2.80
