Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria returns to Caulfield for 9 races with the first to commence at 11:50am local time. The program is headlined by the group 3 Sir John Monash Stakes where punters will see the return of some quality horses such as Ingratiating and Sweet Ride.
The track is currently rated as a soft 6. Victorian’s are set for a cool day with tops of 13 degrees! The forecast is clear; however, the damage has been done as we can expect to be playing on a deck with a bit of juice in it.
The rail is out 3m for this meeting. Traditionally with the rail out 3m, Caulfield has favoured horses who can land on speed. As always, watch and assess.
