First-up was excellent winning from back behind a slow speed over 1000m on soft. Very consistent and has a big finish. I like the winkers coming on here to sharpen him up a bit. Maps well to stay within distance of the leaders. Jmac on big tick.

Canterbury R6 6. Akahata
Most recent trial was class. Then came to race day and ran on very nicely for 2nd after beginning badly. Has made a habit of that. In good order this prep and gets his chance in this field. Maps nicely here. Jmac on and Bjorn is firing.

Canterbury R7 4. Fox Fighter
Brings the class to the field. Goes best when fresh. First-up last prep finished 3L behind Mazu. Finished 3L behind Athelric when fresh. Has the figures to win this. Will get into a nice spot off the fence and get his chance.
