Luckless last start when, 4 wide no cover in Group 2 company last start, run had merit. Two back, held up badly then ran a very fast L200m. Looks a class above these and gets a nice run in transit here.

Randwick R2 6. Scorched Land

Been running solid ratings for this class all prep. Stepped up in class last start, bolting in carrying 54, his last 200m suggests he’ll improve stepping out to the 1800m. Still well weighted picking up +2kg. Draw is of assistance to take a more forward spot.

Randwick R3 8. Miss Jay Fox

In good form with 2 solid runs from her last 2. She enjoys the heavy track and will get the run of the race here from barrier 3 just in behind the speed.

Super sprinter. Has produced some elite times in the wet. Speedy and the 1000m suits first-up. Should sit just off Malkovich in second. Happy to take even money here.

Ok when resuming with the blinkers removed over 1400m in G1 company. Well weighted getting a 3.5kg swing on 2nd favourite Profondo. Re applied here and expect him to improve. Gets her favourable wet track. Has run time win this with similar set-ups.
