April 5, 2022

The Art of Flying’s dominant victory gave us a return to form last Wednesday. This week I’ve picked out a Waterhouse/Bott 2yo that should dictate from the front and a Godolphin 4yo dropping right back in grade.

Canterbury Race 1 – Sweet Baby Boom
- Trainer: Waterhouse & Bott
- Jockey: T Clark
- Barrier: 7
Sweet Baby Boom is a speedy filly from the Waterhouse/Bott yard. She finished 3rd in her debut run at this track and looks a great chance to do better here where she maps to get an easy time of it in front at a Canterbury track where the rail is out.

Canterbury Race 5 – Andermatt
- Trainer: J Cummings
- Jockey: J McDonald
- Barrier: 6
Andermatt is a Godolphin 4yo I have always had time for and I am pleased to see him lob in this grade after being very competitive in feature races like the Fireball and Darby Munro last prep. He does tend to do a few things wrong in his races but I’m confident maturity as a 4yo and class will prevail here.
Tip: 2 Units Win Andermatt @$2.15 withTopSport
