FREE: Ascot Selections & Staking Plan: Wednesday 6th April

Very quiet day on the betting front today at Ascot with no real interest in the meeting bar one race. Full set of numbers for the days racing still available below.

Race 1 – 1:49PM CROWN PERTH HANDICAP (1000 METRES)

3. Michelada – 5. Lady Tornado – 4. Dance Session – 1. Safety Fuse

Race 2 – 2:24PM RELIABLE ASSET MAINTENANCE MAIDEN (1400 METRES)

10. Vitalize – 5. Mr Megsey – 8. Al Tina – 2. Missile

Vitalize

Loved Vitalize run last start when savaging the line from wide out behind Tiff’s Lad who got a cheap run up the fence on a nice cutaway. Tiff’s Lad wasn’t disgraced on Saturday up against River Rubicon and Otheroneson, a couple of very nice horses, so I think the form is more than strong enough to be taking this out. From barrier 1 Parnham can have him tucked away in behind the speed (the horse has shown ability to hold a spot both at the races and at the trials) and think with clear galloping room he takes care of these. 1400m another tick.
