Top 6

The rain is sure to throw up some surprises in all markets and this one could play into our hands.

We were keen on backing Norris here but with it not yet known if he will take penalties due to the damage to his car we’re going to stay out.

Ricciardo will start from 4th and has a good record at this circuit so the $2.20 that is on offer for him to lose more than two places in the race seems too good to turn down especially when you consider that his race pace has typically been a lot quicker than his quali pace this year.

Gasly has been solid all weekend and will start from 6th which may make him a little vulnerable but if Perez happens to get past him early we’ll be hoping Russell drops back through the field and that will allow Pierre to sneak back into the top 6

Podium

Qualifying threw up some surprises with the usual podium suspects spread out across the grid.

We had a decent play on Ricciardo to finish in the top 6 and we want to have another play on him to pass Russell at some stage and move onto the podium at juicy odds.

Vettel has gone from strength to strength this year and already has one podium to his name so we know he can mix it with the top three if things fall his way.

He was second across the line on a wet surface in Hungary before being disqualified due to the stewards not being able to get enough fuel out of his car to test post-race.

Race Winner

Verstappen may have taken pole but that is not always the best position to start here with the short run to the first turn and then the long run up the hill which makes the slipstream a huge bonus early.

Happy to have a go at Hamilton to find the front and hold on.
