Disgruntled star Adam Doueihi has apparently told the Wests Tigers that he’ll only play at the club through to the end of the season, before he and agent Isaac Moses will be exploring options for the 2027 season onward.
Code Sports has reported that the Doueihi–Benji crisis meeting was resolved by Doueihi saying he’ll return to Tigers training this week.

But – he has only agreed to play out the rest of the current campaign before Moses then plans to “re-evaluate Doueihi’s future” in the comp, which will most likely mean that he exits Concord after seven years.
Though nothing has formally been confirmed yet, a very odd 21-second press conference from Wests CEO Shaun Mielekamp suggests there’s very little positives the beleaguered club actually took away from Monday’s crash meeting with their incumbent number seven.
It sets things up perfectly for the Perth Bears, who are instantly interested.
There’s been no formal approach there yet, but Mal Meninga has told those close to him that Doueihi would fit into the first roster very well.
The new Perth club is still hoping that the NRL will give them some concessions that will mean they can offer star players a bit more coin to move west, though that will be tricky to get past the other 17 clubs.

News Corp also reported on Monday that Doueihi’s relationship with the Tigers was “unfixable,” and that he could no longer play under Marshall.
