March 25, 2022
The Miami Dolphins have had a busy week in improving their offense. In addition to acquiring six-time Pro Bowler and 2020 Super Bowl champion Tyreek Hill in a blockbuster trade on Wednesday, the Dolphins have signed offensive tackle Terron Armstead to a five-year deal worth $87.5 million according to ESPNÂ on Tuesday.
Armstead comes to Miami after nine seasons with the New Orleans Saints. From 2013 to 2021, he played 93 games with the Saints. In that time, Armstead was selected to the Pro Bowl on three occasions (in 2018, and 2019, and 2020), and was credited for giving excellent protection for Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who retired in 2021.
