The Denver Nuggets are in the 2020 Western Conference Finals, however it is how they have reached the final four of the 2020 National Basketball Association postseason that are making headlines. When the Nuggets beat the Los Angeles Clippers 104-89 on Tuesday, the Nuggets became the first team in NBA history to come back from two three games to one deficits in a single playoff. The Nuggets came back three games to one down to beat the Utah Jazz four games to three in the Western Conference quarterfinals, and then were down three games to one when they beat the Clippers in the Western Conference semifinals.
What was most impressive in game seven of the series between the Nuggets and Clippers series on Tuesday, was the play of Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic of Sombor, Serbia. Jokic was remarkable offensively and defensively. Not only had he had 16 points and 13 assists, Jokic had a sensational 22 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. He had 19 defensive rebounds and three  offensive rebounds.
Now Jokic and the Nuggets will have another tough task on their hands, as they battle another team from Los Angeles, this time the Lakers. Led by LeBron James and Anthony Davis, you would think they would be the heavy favourites to get to the NBA Finals out of the west. However, not only Jokic, but Canadian Jamal Murray has been playing out of his mind in the NBA Playoffs to date. Murray is averaging 27.1 points per game in 14 postseason games, with two 50-point games. Game one of the Western Final is Friday evening from Orlando.
