Celtics deliver impressive 22 point comeback in win over the Heat

The Boston Celtics delivered an impressive 22 point comeback against the Miami Heat on Friday night at the Toronto Dominion Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The Celtics were once down 58-36 with one minute and 20 seconds left in the first half before outscoring the Heat 62-38 en route to a tight 98-96 victory.
The Celtics won the game with a 23-foot three-point shot by shooting guard Derrick White with 91 seconds left. Remarkably, both teams did not score a single point in the last minute and a half. The Heat had their opportunities, but shooting guard Norman Powell missed a three point jump shot from 30 feet, Davion Mitchell missed a close layup that was blocked by White, and Mitchell missed a 24 point three point attempt with two seconds left.
The third quarter was the difference in the basketball game. The Celtics outscored the Heat by a score of 36-15.
Four Celtics players reached double digits in scoring. Small forward Jaylen Brown of Marietta, Georgia had 29 points, point guard Payton Pritchard of Tualatin, Oregon had 24 points, White had 22 points, and Nikola Vucevic of Morges, Switzerland had 21 points.
Two Celtics players reached double digits in rebounds, Vukcevic had 12 boards and center Neemias Queta of Lisbon, Potrugal had 11 rebounds.
This is the second time this season the Celtics came back from a 20+point deficit and won. On December 22, the Celtics were down 69-49 to the Indiana Pacers before winning 103-95. ‘
Boston has now won five straight games, and are second in the Eastern Conference. They have a record of 34 wins and 18 losses.
