Caulfield Tip Sheet & Staking Plan: Saturday 8th May
May 8, 2021
Saturday Victorian Metropolitan racing returns to Caulfield where there is a solid off season 9 race program to play out in-front of punters!
The track is currently rated a Soft 5. Victorians are set to expect a cool day with a top temperature of 20 degrees. It’s an overcast day with moderate clouds. Expect the odd shower but the track has already had its damage and it should stay into the soft range.
The rail is out 12m. I have had very little confidence in the track at Caulfield in recent times and with the damp track + rail position it makes it hard to predict where they’ll come from.
