Canterbury hosts midweek Sydney racing on Wednesday. Our analyst has found a Freedman filly that beat home a subsequent Saturday winner and a Waller gelding that looks to improve sharply 2nd up as the value play.
Best Selection: R4 – Just Feelin Lucky
Just Feelin Lucky was outstanding last start at Warwick Farm when forced to work hard to sit outside the leader and kicking at the top of the straight before tiring the final 100m to finish 1.2L 2nd to Drift Net. Miss Kim Kar finished 3rd and was a subsequent winner at Randwick on Saturday. She gets in well with the apprentices claim and should find the lead.Â

Value Selection: R5 – Pink Shalala
Pink Shalala was well supported 1st up when 11 weeks between runs without a trial at Warwick Farm last start. He finished 1.4L 6th but should improve considerably with the added fitness and jumping up to a mile.
