In 82 games with the Kings, Barnes averaged 12.2 points per game, three rebounds per game, and 1.2 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .474, three point percentage of .387, and a free throw percentage of .801. Barnes won the NBA Finals with the Warriors in 2015. The Warriors beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in six games.

Duarte is joining his third team. He was previously with the Indiana Pacers from 2021 to 2023, and one season with the Kings in 2023-24.
