The Chicago Bulls delivered the biggest comeback of the 2025-26 NBA regular season on Tuesday. Chicago once trailed the Philadelphia 76ers 65-41 with four minutes and 50 seconds left in the first half. Then Chicago came all the way back and outscored Philadelphia 72-46 over the next 28 minutes and 50 seconds left in the game for a 113-111 victory.
This was the third biggest comeback in Bulls franchise history. Chicago has come back from a 25 point deficit twice. Chicago was once down 70-45 to the Charlotte Bobcats on November 2, 2005 before they won 109-105. Then on February 17, 2021, the Bulls were down 59-34 to the Detroit Pistons, before they won 105-102.
The Bulls are the second NBA team this season to comeback from a 20 point deficit. The Phoenix Suns were trailing the Sacramento Kings 64-44 on October 22 before they won 120-116.Â
In Chicago’s win over Philadelphia on Tuesday, the Bulls hero was center Nikola Vucevic of Morges, Switzerland. Vucevic made a three point jump shot from 24 feet to give the Bulls the two point win. At the time of the shot with three seconds left in the game, Philadelphia had the  111-110 lead. It was Australia’s Josh Giddey who picked up the assist.
Six Bulls reached double digits in scoring. Giddey had 29 points, Vucevic had 19 points, shooting guard Isaac Okoro of Atlanta, Georgia had 16 points, center Jalen Smith of Portsmouth, Virginia had 14 points off the bench, small forward Kevin Huerter of Albany, New York had 12 points in a reserve role too, and forward Matas Buzelis of Chicago, Illinois had 10 points.
Giddey had a triple double as he had 15 rebounds and 12 assists. Vucevic had 10 rebounds.
With the win, the Bulls improved to a record of six wins and one loss. They are the top team in the Eastern Conference.
