In the 19th of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Los Angeles Rams.
Key Off Season Acquisitions
The Los Angeles Rams struggled on defense in the NFC Championship against the Seattle Seahawks. As a result, the Rams attempted to improve the times they do not have the football. They acquired cornerbacks Jaylen Watson and Trent McDuffie and defensive end Myles Garrett.
Watson signed a three-year contract worth $51 million on March 11. The native of Augusta, Georgia played the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and won the Super Bowl with them in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, Watson had 64 combined tackles (42 solo tackles and 22 assisted tackles), three tackles for a loss, two quarterback hits, two interceptions for 14 yards, six pass deflections and two sacks.
On March 4, the Chiefs traded McDuffie of Westminster, California to the Rams for four draft picks. He was a teammate of Watson on the two Chiefs teams that won the Super Bowl in 2023 and 2024. In 2025, McDuffie had 63 combined tackles (45 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles), two tackles for a loss, one quarterback hit, one interception for two yards, one forced fumble, one sack and seven pass deflections.
On June 1, Garrett of Arlington, Texas was traded from the Cleveland Browns to the Rams for three draft picks and outside linebacker Jared Verse.
Garrett has been selected to seven Pro Bowls over the last eight years, and was the Associated Press Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2025. This past season, Garrett set the NFL record for most sacks in a season with 23. He accomplished the feat in a 20-18 Browns win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Garrett also led the NFL in tackles for a loss for the second straight season. He had 22 tackles for a loss in 2024 and 33 tackles for a loss in 2025.
In 2025, Garrett had 60 combined tackles (43 solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles), 39 quarterback hits, one pass deflection and three forced fumbles.
Fantasy Stars
Puka Nacua of Las Vegas, Nevada is the second highest ranked wide receiver in fantasy football. Last year he had 129 catches for 1715 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches.
The Rams also currently have the second best defense in the NFL. They have invested in their defense by bringing in three superstars in McDuffie, Garrett and Watson.

The Rams are a definite Super Bowl contender this season. They are in win mode now and could definitely satisfy millions of southern Californians this upcoming year.
