Don’t drop off him because he didn’t win. It was a tremendous return from the Caulfield Guineas winner and he’s in for another huge campaign. He reeled off 22.11 seconds for the 400 metres between the 600 metres and the 200 metres which was the quickest for the race. His last 600 metres was 33.72 seconds.
NICCOLINI VITO
He backed up his Sydney debut with a great run in the Expressway Stakes. Look for him to win in Sydney when he gets out to 1400 metres and in something slightly easier.
THINK ABOUT IT
Strong win in the final event in the Benchmark 78 from this lightly raced son of So You Think who has now won four of his five starts. He has the early pace to race on speed and he’ll be suited by longer trips than 1350 metres.
