Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Randwick 25/2
February 27, 2023

Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Randwick on Saturday and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.
BLANC DE BLANC
She can’t be dismissed as a Golden Slipper chance after her third in the Sweet Embrace Stakes as she endured a torrid run. Racing NSW stewards used an adjective they don’t use very often when they said she “raced very wide and without cover throughout the event.” She was only beaten 0.53 lengths.

CORNICHE
James Cummings might have stumbled on his number one seed for the Golden Slipper Stakes late in the piece but he’s got a great chance with this imposing son of Fastnet Rock. He surged clear from his rivals to win the Skyline Stakes and ran .32 seconds faster than the two-year-old fillies in the Sweet Embrace Stakes.
RUTHLESS DAME
Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace have found another exciting horse for their stable in this three-year-old filly. She was bloused by Sunshine In Paris in the final stride when second to her in the Group 1 Surround Stakes after she was forced to race wide and without cover from the 1000m. 1600m and further will suit this daughter of Tavistock better than 1400m.

MO’UNGA
Not sure what race he can win but he deserves to win another race as he always puts in at the highest level. He fought hard to finish third behind Anamoe and Hugh Bowman summed it up best when he said he was proud of him again.
