Rosehill Race 6 –Ā All Saints Eve
In a wide open race, All Saints Eve presents decent value after a solid 1st up effort where she was strong through the line when 5th behind Zaaki. She comes to an easier race here whilst dropping down to 53kg and has a fantastic 2nd up record of 3:2-0-0. Her stats at this track and distance don’t read great but the fact she was 2L off them in the G1 Coolmore over this track/distance last prep dispels too much concern.

Rosehill Race 8 – Anamoe
On a day with plenty of wide open races Anamoe stands out as the bet of the day. The Sires Produce winner returned in style winning the G2 Run to the Rose where he disposed of a lot of these whilst worse at the weights and giving away a fitness advantage. The 1400m looks ideal.

Rosehill Race 9 – Profondo
It’s not often you will make a habit of backing horses having their 2nd start in G3 races over 1800m but Profondo looks to have a touch of class that matches his million dollar price tag. Some punters will argue that he is coming out of a Kensington maiden but to be fair, of this field of 16, only 4 horses have won 2 races and only one of them (Subterranean) has won both in city grade. With that being said, form from Kensington maiden in restricted 3yo company isn’t the worst.
We have to trust that Richard Litt has put the work into him to run a strong 1800m but it was easy to see in his interviews before and after his 1st start that Profondo is the golden child of the stable. Expect him to run well.
