Absolutely no luck last start at Northam when bolting for the entirety of the straight, no doubt in my mind he would have won there and the rise to the 1200m here should suit. It looks a simple ride for Lucy, smother him up midfield and gie him the last crack at them. Been running well on rain-affected which isn’t his go so getting back on-top of the ground here should only elevate him further, expecting him to be there at the end with any luck.

Paul Harvey going back onto this horse is a very clear sign of intention that they are here to win here. Absorbed a really hot tempo last start jumping sharply up in trip and really only gave way late there. Maps to get the plumb run in transit with a fair bit of early pace engaged here smothered up leader’s back at his pet track and distance. Expecting a very forward showing and won’t be losing on him.
