Alex de Minaur has married his long-time partner, Katie Boulter, in a secret ceremony in England described by those in attendance as “lowkey” and “intimate.”
The Daily Mail, reporting from the U.K., said the tennis power couple were married in a Leicestershire village near where Boulter grew up.

Helping the wedding’s secrecy was the fact that De Minaur, 27, and Boulter, 29, held the whole affair with close family while the Jannik Sinner–Alexander Zverev men’s final at Wimbledon was taking place — a very easy way to make sure the tennis world is looking somewhere else.
The “Aussie” tennis royal couple were photographed leaving the church after the ceremony while they were showered with rose petals.
The duo have been together for six years, after meeting on the tennis tour.
They’ve even been strong supporters of the other in their play, often attending each other’s matches. Boulter lost in Wimbledon’s opening round in 2026, 6–4, 6–2 to Italian Tyra Caterina Grant while the Demon fell to Flavio Cobolli in a shock upset, losing 7–5, 7–6(7–6), 6–3.
At the time, De Minaur said: “I’m broken inside. That’s the reality… You invest so many hours into this, so many years to have moments like these. Not being able to live up to it is truly heartbreaking.”
De Minaur didn’t let slip he’d been preparing to marry Boulter after his Wimbledon loss, though he said he was going to “try and go about my normal life. I’ve got some pretty big things happening soon.” When he was then asked about what that was, Demon said: “Stuff I’m very excited for.”
“I think my best way forward is to channel my focus into that, into something positive, and that should help put this in the past.”
De Minaur and Boulter originally got engaged in December 2024.
It makes you wonder — will Katie eventually defect to our Australian side?
