Jake Stringer, Elijah Tsatas and Wil Parker are among the first players thrown an AFL lifeline in the 2026 delisted free agency period, with North Melbourne signing three players on Wednesday. Clubs have until 5pm AEDT on Friday 6 November to add delisted free agents.
The window opened at 9am AEDT on Monday 2 November, with 105 players delisted and not traded heading into the period, Fox Sports reported.
North Melbourne: Elijah Tsatas, Samson Ryan, Darragh Joyce
North Melbourne confirmed on Wednesday it had signed former Essendon midfielder Tsatas, ex-Richmond ruck Ryan and former Brisbane defender Joyce, the club announced.
Tsatas, 22, was taken with pick 5 in the 2022 draft and played 22 games for the Bombers. He averaged 32.9 disposals and 7.5 clearances in 15 VFL games this year, according to AFL.com.au. Ryan, 25, played 31 games in six seasons at Richmond, while Joyce, 29, has played 27 games across stints at St Kilda and Brisbane.
“With a slightly more compressed draft hand this year, we made the strategic decision to be very active in the DFA period,” North’s head of football talent Brady Rawlings said.

St Kilda: Jake Stringer, Max Ramsden
Stringer’s move from Greater Western Sydney to St Kilda was confirmed on Wednesday, AFL.com.au reported, making the 32-year-old a member of the “four-club club” after stints at the Western Bulldogs, Essendon and the Giants. He kicked 48 goals for GWS in 2026 and his final game for the club was his 250th.
Zero Hanger first reported St Kilda’s interest in Max Ramsden, and the Saints confirmed on Wednesday they had signed the 23-year-old former Hawthorn ruck-forward, AFL.com.au reported. The 203cm big man played 11 senior games for the Hawks after joining through the 2022 Mid-Season Rookie Draft. “Max’s mobility and follow-up work are real strengths when he plays in the ruck, and we’re excited to watch him continue to develop alongside Tom De Koning and Alex Dodson,” St Kilda general manager of football Lenny Hayes said.
Carlton: Wil Parker
Former Victorian Sheffield Shield bowler Wil Parker has been picked up by Carlton after being delisted by Collingwood, AFL.com.au reported. The 24-year-old half-back played 14 games in three seasons at the Magpies, including five in 2026.
“At just 24 years old, he’s shown some really promising signs at both AFL and VFL level,” Carlton general manager of football Chris Davies said.
