A Class Above: Which Horse Caught Our Eye Last Week? 11/3
March 11, 2020

Our new segment where we identify horses that raced over the last week and have shown us that they were a grade above their rivals and that they will be extremely competitive their next start.
Trajection 3YO Filly ( Smart Missile x Pauline De Lago)
- Trainer – Kim WaughÂ
- Hawkesbury Race 7 – 1300m
Brilliant first up win by the daughter of Smart Missile going straight to the 1300m.
She sat back off a moderate tempo and showed a nice turn of foot recording the quickest last 600m of the meeting eased up towards the line.
Look for her to now step up to a Wednesday or Saturday metropolitan meeting over 1400m -1600m and be very hard to beat.Â

Maia Nebula 3YO Filly ( Bernadini x Pleiades)
- Trainer – James CummingsÂ
- Hawkesbury Race 1 – 2000m
This Godolphin trained filly has been progressing nicely as the distances have risen and got out to the 2000m for the first time and was totally dominant sitting off the pace and rounding them up very quickly coming into the straight and was very strong through the line.
She will most likely go to Wednesday metropolitan level or we have noticed a BM64 over 2000m on the 17th of March that she would be very hard to beat in and would have to keep an eye on opening prices before being heavily backed.
