In the 15th of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Key Off Season Acquisitions
The Jacksonville Jaguars needed to go and sign a new running back in the offseason when Travis Etienne decided to go home to New Orleans in the offseason. They decided on Chris Rodriguez Jr. of Riverdale, Georgia, who signed a two-year contract worth $10 million on March 11.
Rodriguez Jr. had 112 rushes for 500 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns in 2025 with the Washington Commanders. He added three catches for 30 receiving yards.
The Jaguars also made an offseason trade with the Atlanta Falcons on April 17. They acquired defensive tackle Ruke Orhorhoro of Lagos, Nigeria from the Falcons for defensive tackle Maason Smith. Orhorhoro is joining his second NFL team after two seasons with the Falcons. In 2025, he had 25 combined tackles (12 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), four tackles for a loss, six quarterbacks, three and a half sacks and one pass deflection. The pass deflection came in a 29-28 Falcons win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 11.
Fantasy Stars
Like the Texans in the AFC South, the Jaguars have a very good defense, and are ranked second in the AFC. Jacksonville’s top defender last season was linebacker Foyesade Oluokun of St. Louis, Missouri. Oluokun led the Jaguars with 143 combined tackles, 69 solo tackles, 74 assisted tackles, and two forced fumbles.
Meanwhile, Cam Little of Moore, Oklahoma is the sixth best kicker in fantasy. He made 30 field goals and 50 converts in 2025.
Projected Finish
The Jaguars should finish second in the AFC South behind the Texans in 2026. They have a solId defense, and an above average offense led by veteran quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
