2024 NFL Week 9 Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan

What a week! The NFL season rumbles on but in week eight we crushed it. We had four underdog picks, and three won outright. A spectacular week as we reach the halfway point of the regular season.

I will likely be adding some more picks before the games so make sure to check back.

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills

Perhaps the biggest game of the day, and the Bills can continue their fantastic record over the Dolphins. Josh Allen has been nothing short of incredible this season. A win here could go a long way to wrapping up the AFC East, even this early. The Miami offence should be improved, but defensively they are just not good enough.

Las Vegas Raiders @ Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals got off to a slow start, but they have been playing good football for a month now and they are right in the playoff hunt.

The Raiders on the other hand just look like a lost team. At quarterback they have struggles, but with the exception of the defensive line, that runs through the team.

It is a hefty line, but one that Cincinnati can cover.

New Orleans Saints @ Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have been miserable this season, and got demolished by the Saints earlier this year. But this is just a numbers play. Any team at home that is more than a touchdown underdog is going to be a play on most occasions. The Panthers showed a little something under Bryce Young last week and with Derek Carr just returning from injury, they can cause an upset here.

New England Patriots @ Tennessee Titans

It is one of my favourite teams to bet on, up against my favourite team to bet against so we couldn’t miss this one could we?

Drake Maye has been so good since coming in as quarterback, and it is only a mater of time before the Patriots put together a monster game on offence. It could well be here.

The Titans are without Will Levis again and while they are likely to defend the run well, they will be beaten through the air here.
