PARRAMATTA EELS VS CANBERRA RAIDERS – THURSDAY JULY 22, 7:50PM, CBUS SUPER STADIUM

Thursday night footy returns as the Parramatta Eels and Canberra Raiders commence Round 19 at Cbus Super Stadium.

Both teams will be looking to build off their impressive wins last week, with plenty on the line. The Eels can take another step towards cementing a double chance and keep their chances of a top-two finish alive.

Canberra, meanwhile, has rediscovered some form with back-to-back wins over Manly and Cronulla, results that have left the Green Machine just win one away from rejoining the eight.

Both teams head to CBUS in strong form, but like the market suggests, the Eels should be adding to their record if they can dominate possession like they did last week against the Titans.

  • 2 units Eels – 14.5 @ $2 with TopSport

SYDNEY ROOSTERS VS NEWCASTLE KNIGHTS – FRIDAY JULY 23, 6:00PM, SUNSHINE COAST STADIUM

The tri-colours did just enough against the Cowboys last week, with three tries in the final 11 minutes sealing the victory. After both being named to start last week before late changes, it seems James Tedesco and Angus Crichton will return to Sydney’s run-on side, while Josh Morris has been left out.

The Knights, on the other hand, left CBUS with their tale between their legs after suffering a demoralizing 48-4 loss to the Storm.

Newcastle still has enough time left to make a late finals push, but the fact they own only one win over a top eight side this season is obviously reason for concern.

  • 1 unit Roosters 1-12 @ $3.30 with TopSport
  • 1 unit Ponga anytime try scorer @ $2.54 with TopSport
  • 1 unit Tedesco anytime try scorer @ $1.95 with TopSport

NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS VS MELBOURNE STORM – FRIDAY JULY 23, 7:55PM, QUEENSLAND COUNTRY BANK STADIUM

The Storm have opened -30.5 point favourites at the line as they hope to extend their impressive winning streak to 15 games against the Cowboys.

It comes as no surprise after they punished the Knights last week and with Papenhuyzen set to come off the bench there is no doubt there will be plenty of points in this one.

North Queensland appeared in the finals hunt a month ago, but a few nasty injuries – including one to centre Javid Bowen last week – has made life very tough.

To make matters worse, the Storm have won 11 straight games over the Cowboys dating back to 2016 – a record they’ll more than likely add to on Friday night.

  • 1 unit Addo-Carr first try scorer @ $6 with TopSport

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS VS NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS – SATURDAY JULY 24, 3:00PM, SUNSHINE COAST STADIUM

The Bunnies will look to cement a top 4 spot this week against a struggling Warriors outfit.

The Bunnies trailed by two at half-time before banging in the tries in the final 20 minutes with Canterbury down a man. A win that got the 2 points but wouldn’t have impressed Wayne Bennett.

New Zealand has lost six straight heading into Saturday’s contest, and things have only gotten worse on the injury front with Tohu Harris tearing his ACL in last week’s loss to Penrith.

  • 3 units Rabbitohs -18.5 @ $2 with TopSport
  • 3 units Latrell Mitchell anytime try scorer @ $1.94 with TopSport
  • 1 unit Latrell Mitchell first try scorer @ $11 with TopSport

MANLY SEA EAGLES VS WESTS TIGERS – SATURDAY JULY 24, 5:30PM, SUNCORP STADIUM

A top four spot is still up for grabs with seven games remaining, and it is no surprise to find the Sea Eagles as heavy -16.5 point favourites heading into Saturday’s game at Suncorp.

The Sea Eagles overcame the Dragons with a comprehensive second-half display to prevail 32-18. Meanwhile, the Tigers felt some relief after a torrid month of football, roaring home over Brisbane to win 42-24 despite going into half-time down 18-10.

This game is our special of the round as we’re very keen here.

  • 5 units Sea Eagles -18.5 @ $2 with TopSport
  • 2 unit Trbojevic 2+ Tries @ $3.20 with TopSport
  • 1 unit Trbojevic 3+ Tries @ $7 with TopSport

PENRITH PANTHERS VS BRISBANE BRONCOS – SATURDAY JULY 24, 7:35PM, SUNCORP STADIUM

Missing their main halves combination, the Penrith Panthers were forced to scrap against a fighting Warriors side, but eventually surged away with a 30-16 victory.

Meanwhile, the Brisbane Broncos had an opportunity to go back to back for the first time since 2019 against the Tigers last week but threw it away in the second half.

The Panthers have won their last two over Brisbane, however, neither result was convincing despite them being heavily favoured in both.

  • 1 unit Broncos +20.5 @ $2 with TopSport

ST GEORGE-ILLAWARRA DRAGONS VS GOLD COAST TITANS – SUNDAY JULY 25, 1:50PM, CBUS SUPER STADIUM

St George remains in the eight despite last week’s capitulation against Manly, while the Titans are still struggling to find their best form after suffering their own blowout defeat against the Eels.

It’s hard to feel confident about either team with their lack of defence so we’re going to attack the points market.

  • 1 unit over 50.5 total match points @ $1.85 with TopSport

CANTERBURY BULLDOGS VS CRONULLA SHARKS – SUNDAY JULY 25, 4:05PM, CBUS SUPER STADIUM

The Bulldogs put up a solid first half fight against the Rabbits last week before Lachlan Lewis was sin-binned for rough housing after the siren, a decision that ultimately led to the Rabbitohs coming from behind to snatch a win.

Cronulla let costly errors ruin their chances against the Raiders last week with 10 errors and an incredible 61 missed tackles which will have to be improved if they are to bounce back here.

  • 1 unit Bulldogs +10.5 @ $2 with TopSport
