MANLY SEA EAGLES VS CANBERRA RAIDERS – THURSDAY JULY 8, 7:50PM, 4 PINES PARK
Canberra’s season is close to over after suffering an embarrassing loss at home against the Titans last week, a result that has seen the Raiders drop down to 13th on the ladder with nine games to play.
The news only gets worse for the Raiders against a red-hot Manly side that is looking to build on a 66-0 walk over against Canterbury last week.
Tom Trbojevic, Toafofoa Sipley and Jason Saab starred in the shutout victory, and while Turbo might be missing due to Origin commitments, it’s very hard to see Canberra’s sloppy defence coming up with an answer on Thursday night.

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS VS NORTH QUEENSLAND COWBOYS – FRIDAY JULY 9, 7:55PM, STADIUM AUSTRALIA
The North Queensland Cowboys will look to avoid a fourth straight defeat when they face the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Newcastle on Friday night.
The Cowboys have dropped to 10th following a humbling 38-0 defeat in Newcastle last week, while the Bunnies are back up to third through four straight wins.
The Rabbitohs won a 31-30 thriller when they met the Cowboys in Townsville last season, but based on recent form, this one might turn out a little more one-sided.
As far as the season is concerned, the Cowboys are still very much in the hunt to play finals, but it’s hard to ignore the fact they rank fourth in points allowed.
CANTERBURY BULLDOGS VS SYDNEY ROOSTERS – SATURDAY JULY 10, 7:35PM, BANKWEST STADIUM
The Roosters turned in an underwhelming performance, suffering a 46-0 defeat against the Storm last week but get a great chance to bounce back against a struggling Bulldogs outfit.
The Bulldogs haven’t tasted victory against the Roosters since 2016.

CRONULLA SHARKS VS NEW ZEALAND WARRIORS – SUNDAY JULY 11, 4:05PM, NESTRATA JUBILEE STADIUM
Cronulla’s four-game winning streak came to an end as Josh Hannay’s side fell by eight points at Suncorp, but with so many teams struggling to make up ground, the Sharks still find themselves sitting eighth on the ladder.
Despite their troubles in turning late leads into wins, the Warriors are still just two points adrift of the eighth-placed Sharks.
They won’t want to be four behind heading into round 18.
